Danielle’s passion to help others started at a young age. Growing up with a sister who was diagnosed with autism, she saw firsthand the difficulties a person can face in life when not able to use their voice. Danielle has always been a passionate advocate for those who feel unheard or who want another person to stand by their side. Danielle grew up in and around law firms and recognized early on that attorneys made great partners for people who needed powerful advocates.

Danielle’s dedication to championing the needs of others continues in her practice, which centers on high-conflict child custody cases. Danielle supports her clients with compassion as she helps them fight for justice through what is often a complicated and confusing legal system. Danielle uses her experience with parenting coordinators, family therapists, and other experts to help clients achieve the best outcome for their families. She also has extensive experience with complex financial matters, business valuations and working with financial experts. Danielle encourages clients to resolve cases through mediation and settlement, but knows that when a client has to fight, they fight to win.

Danielle obtained a bachelor’s degree in Food Science from the University of Georgia and went on to receive her Juris Doctor degree from Georgia State University College of Law. While in law school, Danielle was a leader in numerous organizations and graduated with special honors in public service. Danielle’s dedication to learning and experiencing new things has never stopped. She is a graduate of the NITA Family Trial Advocacy Institute, which admits only 40 students each year. She sits on a number of committees for the North Carolina State Bar and Mecklenburg County Bar. She volunteers in the community, with her focus and passion being children and education.

When Danielle isn’t working, she enjoys spending time with her family, including her triplets. Together, they enjoy reading, playing games and playing outside.
