Tax Controversy & Tax Disputes
Our attorneys recognize that tax controversies and disputes are sensitive and potentially devastating for both individuals and businesses. We also understand that each client is different. Therefore, our Firm creates a unique strategy for each representation based on our client’s varied needs and circumstances. We advocate for individuals and businesses who have found themselves in a dispute with the federal, state, and/or local tax authorities. We diligently represent our clients through all aspects of the dispute process in order to obtain a favorable outcome. This may include acting behind the scenes as needed, handling appeals within the state and federal administrative process, pursuing and negotiating settlements of tax assessments, and litigating cases in federal and state courts.
Bryan Tyson, who is one of the Firm’s Equity Partners and founding members, received his L.L.M. in Taxation from Georgetown University Law Center. Since then he has been advocating for his clients, both individuals and businesses, throughout the southeast. He practices in several areas of law, including Tax Controversy and Tax Disputes.
